Legal advice

Migrant Children’s Project provides free legal advice on all aspects of the rights of children and young people affected by UK immigration. You might be able to receive advice at [email protected].

General Support organisations

Refugee Council gives non-legal support to asylum-seekers and refugees. There is a special team working with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.

Scottish Refugee Council gives non-legal support to asylum-seekers and refugees in Scotland. It has offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Welsh Refugee Council gives non-legal support to asylum-seekers and refugees in Wales. It is based in Cardiff.

Migrant Help offers advice and support to migrants across the UK.

Young People’s Support organisations

The Children’s Society offers support to young refugees and migrants across the UK.

Just for Kids Law provides youth advocacy services in London.

Education

UK Council for International Student Affairs provides information and advice, on its website and by telephone, for all non-UK nationals accessing further and higher education.

We Belong is a campaigning organisation led by young people supporting those who have issues with immigration, education and other issues.

Health and mental health

Doctors of the World provides health care for vulnerable migrants in London.

Helen Bamber Foundation offers psychotherapeutic clinical care.

Freedom From Torture offers psychotherapeutic clinical care.

Baobab Centre for Young Survivors in Exile offers psychotherapeutic clinical care.
